okay i searched for this already and no one said if one or the other was better. So i need to set up a suspension for drifting on an s14 and i dont know what to go with:decent coilovers (tein, hks, etc)or a spring/shock strut combo.ive read that i would want a firm setting in the back and a soft setting in the front. is this to transfer weight. My budget for suspension is about 1500, including strut bars, anti roll bars, etc.

does anyone have the apex-i n1 coilovers? how are they for drifting?

soft compound tires in the front and hard compound in the rear. = more grip in front more slip in back

Get Tein HAs, then find some super cheap strut bars, then you're set.
