The other day me TRYING to show off i was trying to drift. i wanted to do a 180 by droping it from 4th to 2nd gear but didn't get enough wheel spin and ended up having all the weight of the car on the front right wheel and the next thing that happend was POP! i looked under the car and saw the boot was out of place and then my boy looked at it and said its the rack n pinion.

I asked around and the cheapest i could get it fixed for is 400 by rebuilding the R n' P. The nissan dealer will charge me over a 1000 dollors. Is $400 a good price to get it fixed for or does anyone think i could get it fixed cheaper?

400 is a bargain since a after market rebuild usually goes for about that. but be aware you buy cheap, expect cheap parts. This part is what controls your car going down the road. On top of that your abusing the steering system by drifting. Not that I am scolding just trying to point out the importance of the part your putting on.
