Well I have been drifting for about 2 months now and recently I have been plaged with a couple problems. a couple days ago I was in mid drift on a left hand turn and I heard a huge pop from the back of my car. I thought I snapped a halfshaft bolt or something so I drove home very slowly. The car doesn't feel any different except for a slight lean to the left which is due to alignment that I had before the pop. I couldn't find anything wrong underneath the car so I went back out yesterday and it did the same thing. the pop sounded like a bolt snapping or metal hitting metal. I have a 1986 200sx turbo with a ca18det, tokico illuminas all around, canuck motorsports springs (2in lowering) , and a welded diff. I don't think the diff broke because it is still locked up. Anyone help is appreciated. Another problem I have been having is when I drift to the right with a half a tank of gas or less I lose power and the drift because of it. I'm thinking all the fuel shifts to the left side causing not enough going to the pump. I cant always keep a full tank at the track so any quick fixes or words of advice would help.

When I'm driving on the freeway and let go of the steering wheel she veeres of the the left slightly. It's not the motor mount because I just fixed that the week before when she had a serious lean to the right.

seriously check the tires, i was going nuts trying to find out why my car pulled to the right, then I checked the air pressure and realized i couldnt tell because my sidewalls were so stiff.

Ditto... I had the exact same thing happen. I just had an alignment done and two days later it was pullin to the left like a mother. Turns out I had a nail in the front left tire

Nope, No popped tire. I check my pressures religously, especially before drifting. The thing I was worried about was my halfshaft at the joint or where it sits in the diff It kind of sounds like something metal pop's. It drives like a normal car with a welded diff. Oh well I'm going to go drifting on thurs and hope that nothing breaks.
