Hey guys. I am a soon to be Z owner (FINALLY!!), and I am big into drifting, have been for a number of years. I am looking for power in the neighborhood of 350-375whp, n/a. Do you think it would be better to bore it out or just keep the regular displacement? I need to keep it reliable. Also, any suggestions on good parts would be helpful.

there is no replacement for displacement, I believe the 4.2 stroker kit sells for around $8k, figure another $2k for machining and balancing, and thats about what it'll take to get that kind of power n/a

I would say check out the stroker kit. Brian Crower makes a good kit, Jun and Tomei make some kits too I believe. I'm looking at doing the same thing on the wife's Z and have been thinking of going through http://www.more-japan.com for Japanese parts. If you're not looking at that then maybe turbo, or super charger is a good idea. It all depends on how much money you're willing to spend.

I would think stroke it, open up the heads, all the bolts ons there are, a nice fine tune. Honestly you could probably just slap on an SC and make that power safely, for daily and track. But if your into drift you probably have the money to do w/e so your gonna spend about $10k for a 350-400 whp N/A 350Z, not to mention the suspension work for the drift setup. Let us know what you do, and pics would be nice.
