Maxpower - Thanks for the sympathy. as with all of Hts motors it had 'less than 30k'. I'm still waiting to get my old KA trans put in.

I cant say that. My experince overall has been total Crap. The shop doing my swap has taken their sweet *** time about every step of the process. (however they are good mechanics, very thorough) HT tho has been nothing but helpful and kind to me. They repeatedly offered to sit down and do an over the phone, after business hours, consultation with my shops wiring guy. My shop opted not to do that. When I discovered my trans was damaged (5 or so months after i purchased it) Mr. Holden offered to sell me his old (low miles) Ka trans that he keeps as a backup for a very fair price (we all know their prices are a bit high to begin with..)

Anyway, I wouldnt warn anyone away from HT. But my website/story is as true as I can make it. I havent seen too many detailed accounts of motor swaps. Serves as a warning for anyone not sure they wanna go through with it.

We had freezing rain and really slick roads. I seen that and kept my butt inside and off the interstate and back roads b/c we had very slicks roads here. I seen that that morning and all I could say was $hit for everytime I seen car hit each other, and what got me was they sat there and watched it happen instead of helping them out and such, not much could have done but still. lol :)

I cant forget that day b/c I bout slid off the front porch that morning again and took me a few minutes just to get my car door open from where it was iced shut.
