Drifting in Europe!

I thought there was a drifting topic here but I was too lazy to look. Sorry! Anyway, after work I didn't wanna jump right into traffic so I stopped off at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. There was this news stand across from Starbucks and Claim Jumper and in the Trade section I saw this German magazine called "Sport Auto." Inside there was an article about a drifting competition called the "Drift Challenge." It was pretty cool and pretty crazy, too. They were drifting all generations of BMW M3's, M5's (Those cars weigh 4000lbs.) all kinds of old school BMW's, Porsche 911's (996) Boxsters and 928's. There was even a VW BUG drifting for pete's sake :thumbsup Very groovy baby :p

yeah, i remember seeing a video (either Option or Drift Tengoku) where they covered a drifting event at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany. you could see everything from Porsches to Jaguars trying to drift. of course, then Orido came by in an S14 and put everyone to shame

id like to see a good drift vid , the only one that ive got that has drifting is my mischeif 3000 video but its got very poor drivers trying to do it and its just a 3 mintue part of the video ...

There are tons of videos availible on the internet. Do a seach on Kazaa and you'll come up with all kinds of hits.

Kazaa has more than a few viruses lurking in it - make sure your utilities are updated.
