Well, it ice here last night so me and some friends wanted to go out and play in it. The night was going along pretty good until my car kicked back the other way, not sure iff i hit a dry spot in the road or ice spot, but it threw me into a curb and head into a tree at about 35mph

this might be the end of it with me and my ca18det, some guy offered me a trade for a running stock s13, i have no other choice than to do it because this was my daily driver and i have a fulltime job

wild- your a jerk

driftnc- that really sucks. i am sorry to hear that. it looks like you could fix it over the weekend (minus the frame damage) with a new front end, a new intercooler and new piping. maybe just use silicon toobing (similiar stuff to radiator hoses) on the cold side until you have more time to fix it up.

that looks pretty bad, did you have your seat belt on?

i wouldnt trade, just hammer back te frame or weld in a new radiator suppet.

maybe its time for s silvis front end?

im not a jerk, im trying to help people understand that if u play in the street either u or ur car or god forbid somebody else will get hurt. is the motor hurt? i dont think there frame damage, maybe just change the rad support no?

*edit* after seeing the pix again there might be some bending but nothing significant. u sure u dont want to fix?

You might get it to look alright again, but uni-bodys are NEVER the same again after a wreck. Whether you can see it or not, the entire body and frame of that vehicle has been damaged. They are designed like that to protect you and that is part of the reason that you walked away from it. Unfortunatly the car takes the brunt of the force and this is the result you get. I'd have to see it to tell for sure, but I think the car is probabally toast.

dude, that really sucks. ive got a radiator you can have, and a stock smic setup (minus most couplings) if you want it. sure the car may be a unibody and all that junk, but ive seen much worse in sanctioned events and most of the time those cars are just straightened back out (more or less) and driven again.

the thing i would be worried about though is that coolant overflow bottle. looks like yours is gone and those things arent cheap. if you REALLY wanted me to, i could go get you all of the pieces you need to fix it, minus the hood, at a local junkyard. i wont be home for a few more weeks though. they have everything you need, even the right color!!

yeah, haha the front lip made it threw... ill probably just be selling the whole setup whenever i decide what i want to do 1st, iff not the whole car then just the motorset and ill part the car out and keep some stuff for my next s13

r34gtr- thanks for the help, but ill probably just end up selling it unless i find an s13 shell around here... oh yeah my overflow bottle is infront on the radiator support to the right of the last picture

the passenger side wheel is backed up into the fender a bit, so i know ill be needing some suspension work, the radiotor support is bent and that cuased the fender frames to bow in a bit

Sorry to hear about your car. I also hate to be a vulture, but if you want to sell that lip, hit me with an email: [email protected]. Hope everything works out for you, I know what it is like to have a job and no car to get you there.

Thanks,Mike
