Drifting featured on RIDES

RIDES on TLC had an excellent episode on tonight. The main focus was a very nice Rod Millen Lexus Hybrid. Apparently his son works on/is involved with drifting. Some ok footage of the APC (bleah) drifters. Overall drifting is shown in a very postive light. He talks about how it is a precision motorsport for RWD cars. A welcome change from that real TV episode that talked about drifting as a dangerous underground stret race held for big money. =(

Anyway, i think its going to be on again later tonight.

yes it was now only if i did not blow a head gasket i would be rocking the 240 and the is rocked got i love rides best car show ever i think

Brian Norris drives the JIC 240sx - friend of a friend =) He's a really down to earth guy who loves drifting because it's a sport to him, not some fanboy crap.

Rhys Millen, on the other hand, got into drifting because he couldn't hack it as a rally driver. The only reason he's on the D1 circuit is because he's got money deluxe, and he's a quazi-celebrity. FEH

Anyways, the show was indeed good - lots of decent discussion about RWD and the cult following, even though I did have to put up with Rhys (I think I'm the ****ing GOD of drifting even though I suck) Millen.
