Okay so i decided to go drifting at this one parking lot with my friend alex. He drives a sylvia s14 and he was doing drifts. any way. i was video taping it so i could get pics later. and all of a sudden a cop rolls up and gives us citations. . any way now i have to go to court for trespassing and he has to go for a lot of crap. hope everything goes okay. this dosn't mean we arent drifting any more.(i hope)

I guess you guys got what was coming. That the dangers of drifting. Before the cop had a chance to take the tape why didn't you take it out and get rid of it. I guess no more drifting at that place.

wow you guys musta been some real jerkoffs and/or sucked horribly at drifting for the cop to cite you...cuz usually if i get rolled up on by cops, they either think it's neat, and just tell me to carry on elsewhere cuz it's annoying neighbors (but they commend me for not doing it in the street) or they just tell me to stop cuz it's not good...and i say "oh ok officer, i'm sorry, i guess this isnt such a great place for it...)

no actually my county police are a holesthey will try citing u for anythinglike one time they pulled one of my friends over just because his wing was too high and it definately was not. They are the real a hole cops that will try and get u for anythingohh well looks like i wont be drifting at that place any more.. i found this industrial park which is completely empty on saturday and sundays. so drifting hasn't stopped yet.. and besides that is a different county with different cops which arent a holes cuz a couple of my friends were messing around in teh park and the cops thought it was okay as long as no one got hurt or damaged anything. well i will post pics of the night when i get the video back. till then just keep on ur toes and watch out for a hole cops.

when i said in my area i meant where i live.. cuz like in philadelphia there are more drifters but not in the little town i live in.. half the people in my school cant even tell me what an lsd is. well yeah of course there are drifters around but like i said not in my lil hic town . no one even drives a descent car except my friends. all i ever see are civics or like 4 by 4 trucks. and where did u meet that Van Gitten?? Cuz i havent met him yet but if u tell me where maybe i have but just dont know it..

By the way im going to the street races on friday so i will post some pics.

lmao, driftczar, hey everyone, go easy on the kid. at least hes on the right road. he doesnt drive yet, so cant cause any harm. that s14.5 is stock. but some crazy custom work. the fenders are the original zenki fenders, we molded them with fibergalss to fit the headlights. and the color is mercedes benz blue. ohh and that wing is gone soon. (actully it was mine, but i sold it to him hehe). and driftczar, they are 240sx not sylvias, actually silvia is the correct spelling.

Van Gitten was a *i think Philly, i know for a fact pennsylvania* drifter that just recently went D1 and is sponsored by Falken...he is the Silvia front S13 coupe, blue and grey...reps for falken at the events n stuff...always has a big foam hand on/in his car...he's a nice guy, took the time out of his day to stop and talk to me while he filled up his friend's EVO w/ 93 (i was pumpin 94 octane lol...he cheaped on his buddy's car!) then we raced down the road for close to a mile and then parted ways. Told me about hwo he jsut got picked up by "team falken" and i didnt even put 2 and 2 together till i got home and i felt like such a dolt!

um ok wow. why is your handle driftczar when you dont drift and you arent a czar. lame. and holy **** stop saying sYlViaH Y0 where did people get the retarded idea that it is spelled with a Y. I have no idea where that came from. If you are parkinglot drifting and you see a cop, that is the key to leave the parking lot. and that blue car, please do somthing about that, stock wheels, s15 front end, ugh so bad. please if you want to drift go to an event instead of just going around in a parking lot and trying to learn off initial d.

yeah okay take a chill pill. I know i spelled silvia wrong its just a bad habbit. And i at least try to learn to drift better even though i dont have my licence yet. But soon. When i get my licence and an fc then i will be a full fledged drifter. Isn't that how everyone started out?? and the whole drift czar is just a thing that me and my friends came up with. Nothing for u or anyone else to be worrying about and commenting. U just stick with what u know and try to make new friends not act all smart and cocky. I didn't join NICO to get crap from people. Just to Talk to other people who like drifting their cars.no hard feelings.

dude you dont even plan on getting a nissan? what the hell are you doing on NICO then!? go join an RX7 club or something...and there IS something wrong when you proclaim yourself to be the "drift czar" and you dont even have a car of your own, let alone a drift car. That's like me calling myself the master of soccer...i dont even play soccer

This kid sounds like he's 10, and has no clue about anything, no where near worthy of even trying to imitate initial d. I doubt he's even seen a correctly performed drift.

You need to take some of your own advice

If you came here to learn and talk about drifting, why don't you be a little humble and quit pretending to be the best or something.

when/whered he say hes the best? there was that one all-caps statement about nobody in his town sliding... but he said he wasnt bad, not that he was "takumi"...

anyway, iThink hes doing just fine the direction hes going, as mentioned before on this thread. iWas in his situation not II far in th past, and now ive got an open differential beind me (yeah start somen bou tit) 2389 cc`s in front, and a few sets of baldened tires in a dumpster.

iSay, keep practicin man, you`re ok. Don` let random people and/or "flames" get II y, its about wha happens *off*line, thats what really matters

if iEver go visitin family in arlington,an have some spare time, i`ll look out for you guys. maybe we can do a lil more than talkin, if y know some proper safe places II get slideways.

Yo thanx, i was beggining to think this place was full of losers who cant accept new people in nico. well thats cool. I do practice when i get a chance (to drift even though i dont have my license yet) but when i do i will drift and u can count on it. Well if u ever do visit around then tell me about it. Then tell me about it on nico or something. And yeah i know a safe place. jUst found it its a n idustrial park and i ve been going there evey day checking if cops patrol around those parts and so far nothing. Its coolso if u ever feel like getting sideways and u are in our area.... well i think u know whats next.

I dont recall my self acting cocky and saying i was all good and stuff. I dont even got my license yet but for 15 i know a lot about drifting and drifting cars is the only thing that interests me about cars. The whole drift czar thing has nothing to do with me being a drift king or anything. Its just this thing with my friends where we mixed a lil of our home culture with drift and made it a name. It doesn't mean anything. (yet) at least. lol

I know cops just are just doing their job, i wish the ones here were as cool as the ones up there. One night I just wanted to scare my friend and I pulled my ebrake going about 10 mph in a totally empty parking lot the size of a football field. I spun about 150 degrees around, not even a half circle. The cop pulled me over and gave a ticket for careless driving that actually said, "had no regard for the safety of others in the lot" (ummm, empty, that is why i did it there dumb@$$.) And he said I was tearing up my car and I shouldn't have risked our lives. It was also raining and he also kept using his loudspeaker to call and make me get out and stand in the rain besides HIS window, he could have pulled next to me. I was so pissed I called in a favor from a lawyer and got off scottfree w/ 10 hours of community service (not many places wanted me to help cause that was so few hours.) I think that cop had something to prove... I lost a lot of respect for our cops that day.
