I saw a vid the other day where a drag-strip parking lot had a drifting course set up. Where do I go to find out if events like this are being held in my area?

I went to http://www.drifting.com and it all looked like California stuff. Id be looking for something near Atlanta, GA.

Thanks

I've been looking for the same thing around Atlanta, with no luck. (same Xyster off po.com, by the way). The DGTA (http://www.dgtrials.com), or Drift and Gymkhana Trials Association says they're looking to expand, and gives tips on how to set up a legal event in your area. That might be something to look into.

hehehe, i drained the transmission fluid like you said and all that junk. The biggest mess was when i disconnected the power steering lines from the pump.

Im having trouble disonnecting the mounts with my walmart toolset. Just 2 fricken bolts and that sucker will come strait out (i managed to get the transmission mount and driveshaft disconnected)

i KNOW you didnt just highjack my thread!!! ;)

I emailed those guys. we'll see what happens. I need to get an LSD before i think about setting something up, but when the time comes it would be awesome to set up a similar event.

Edit: got an email back already, and the guy said to find some good lots and find out how to get in touch with the facilities manager and they take over from there :ylsuper

Awesome...I'll keep an eye out for some big parking lots in the atlanta area. The Turner Field lots would be great...but I think those get pretty much booked solid.
