I've been interested in drifting for a while, but didnt want to try it until i learned how to drive and had experience. Im 16 and have been driving for about, a year and a half? Anyways, my brother has been racing for about 7 years and i've wanted to start drifting. I want to start slow, on back roads with my brother to guide me through it. But the problem is i have a front wheel drive, automatic cavalier. I was wondering whats a reasonably priced car thats good for a begginer, and what modifications i would need. But keep in mind that i have a part time job as a mechanical apprentice after school and on weekends, so money and help is no problem.

ya get a 89-90 nissan 240sx these will probly be the cheapest. but please dont try drifting on any road even back roads. start off in the largest parking lot you can find without any other cars or ppl in it. drifting is not as easy as you might think. you dont want to hurt yourself or anyone else.

thanks for the advice. right now since ive never attempted drifting ive never really had any clue about how easy or hard it was, because i dont want to underestimate it.
