i've been thinking of this welded diff thing. i think i'll pick up another s13 pumpkin and have a shop weld it.

my right tire spins too much w/open diff. i hear thats a common thing. so i put crappy tire on left tire and good tire on right tire. then it balances out a little. also I have installed squirters (windshield washer) with a reservoir, that squirt water on my rears, to help break traction, because i lack the power when it's not raining. (stock KA-E)wow did i just sound super rice or what.

wow, someone finally did it. do the squirters work??, i've been wondering about that but thought of using bleach instead of water for extra smoke off the wheels.

Dude people have been using sqirters for burn-out competitions for YEARS,I heard about them way long before I ever stopped hating imports/starting loving them !

BTW 'drifting' in the rain with an open diff (s13) is HELLA fun,way too much fun lmao :D

yes they have been around for a while for burning rubber, not drifting. they work amazingly. since your fronts have a lot of grip and your rears are sliding, you get a lot of control and surprisingly no noticable snap over steer. then again i've been doing this with the stock 195/60/15 tires (very easy to feel the limit). i just put some 205/40/17s int he frotn and left stock in the rear. even better :)
