I want to know what are you guys' opinions on the RS*R Race Springs. I am looking into buying the springs for my 1990 240sx sr20DET swap. I like the TEINS lowering springs, too, but RS*R Race Springs have a higher spring rate. Opinions are appreciated, thanks!

opinion: coilovers > every spring on the planet. even the cheap 600$ systems blow the doors off any lowering spring out there.

ok....more specific here. I'm a beginner, so i need something that's cheap with good quality. i know any coilover system out there is better than all lowering springs, but right now, Im kinda low on cash. just need something that will lower my ride just a bit and a little better handling. I goal is for the TEIN Super Drift suspensions, but that's still a long ways to go. Thanks for your opinion anyways. Other opinions still welcome!

I second that. Hell go into debt because you will never be happy with springs after you have driven on coilovers.

Im sorry but I had to comment and im sure I may get kinda flamed but, my friend has a tein s-teck springs and adjustable kyb shocks along with adjustable camber arms on his 300z and I think its great. I dont know why set up's like those are kinda flamed, and everyone says to just save for coilovers. Is it just because its not that much more for coilovers or what? I just thoughthis set up felt quite nice, maybe the only thing would be a slightly stiffer spring that way it would compliment the shocks better.

Megan Coilovers or KTS are only 200-300 more over the KYB Adjustable and RSR Race Spring combos. Mine as well just save up for the coilovers.

I have Tech-S spings and I drifted in a friends car with coilovers... OMFG it's an amazing feeling to drive with coilovers!! it should be standard equipment for ALL 240 owners.

well put

i had s-teks and kyb set up, it was "ok". I was satisfied for a while untill i got serious about drifting. the springs were not great for handling or looks at all. If ur going to do an engine swap, your gonna need a good suspension under you to control it. seriously, save a little bit more and get some MR or KTS coilovers. its one of the best things you'll get.
