It was decent for me. My sister watched it too. She hates cars and she even liked it. My mom didn't know what to think. She knows that I drift and wonders why I came home Saturday evening with two sets of rear tires trashed after a day at Tire Rack's test course. Now she knows. Nick

my mom talked louder than the TV through the whole f'in thing and then loudly said things like "when I was young we called that losing control."And when they kept saying "california" and the signs in the background said "irwindale" she kept saying "where the heck is this supposed to be anyway?"And then when they showed hubinette and millen together she said "are those two brothers?"I hate staying at home.

It was on at least twice last night. I caught it at 12 or 1am I think.

I thought it was pretty cool. At the very least it will expose the sport to a larger audience and give it more legitimacy to those who have heard of it... but never seen it. No matter what kind of backwards redneck you are (and I include myself in that statement) you HAVE to appreciate the skill and talent involved once you see the pros. This is even more evident when they show a pro after watching a novice... or even after watching a pro in a poorly prepped car <::cough:(GTO):cough::>

I tivo'd it to watch later.. But I did catch some parts of it. it was very well done, like most things on TLC. Still one of my favorite channels.

*under breath* Now if Redline TV had as much production value then maybe I wouldnt hate the Mickey Mouse of a show.*sigh*

LOL that losing control part cracked me up! Yeah im also at home for summer and my mom watched it as well. She actually enjoyed saying stuff like "Those cars put on a nice show" and "Those drivers are really good" she is a nascar (more Jeff Gordon then nascar) fan so that might have something to do with it.
