forgive me for some of this info.. i simply copied it off another forum i had it on.. but this is the jist of the s13 i currently drift...

anyway heres some pics of when zeke and the guys were putting this car together it was originally alex's second car he flipped his original as most of u know in a particular section of 151. at some point he couldnt afford to pay people back or something then it was taken as payment who knows..lol.

then it passed through a few hands..lol. i ended up with it and have been working out minor bugs like afm and things of the sort.. but the day i got it i picked up a s14 pumpkin with a nice new kaaz 2 way lsd.. the day after that i headed to piedmont dragway for a drift practice.. the car like most 240s just doesnt wanna spin out unless u push it to far but its way more managable than ae86s and half the other cars u see drifting today.. i find myself relaxing a lot more behind the wheel of 240s. its a different driving style but it works. i did find that wheel studs on this car were crap i broke 5 that day.. then i broke 2 more after coming home. not sure if it was the wheels i was running or what. heres is a pic of it at the event.

then the next weekend i took it down to myrtle beach speedway for rd 1 of the points series.. apparently i had bent something in the front of the car in nc cause the car pulled to the driver side since and was sloppy in response.. i had also broken or finished breaking the subframe bushings and the motor transmission mounts.. which sucked.. but new parts didnt make it in time and im still waiting on them. should be here this week. first run of the day the used afm i had went out on me before the first corner.. then after changing it i got a run in and the 4th gear sensor went out.. telling the ecu i was in 4th at 5500 and the revlimiter would kick in so i disconnected it solving the issue.. then i just had to work with the car and its sloppy steering for the rest of the day.. i took 5th and feel i coulda done better but no worries. oh and broke some more wheel studs..here is a few pics from that day..

after returning home i found some of my electrical gremlins that had occured since the first event i took it too. i had chewed the wiring harness with those fitipaldi 16s.. i patched that and also opened up the strut tower area to get some more negative camber out in the front. i also re adjusted the toe on the driver side and made the car feel more like it did before piedmont drift. and i replaced 2 more wheel studs this time when i changed out the wheels to my new wheels i placed antisieze on all the studs to try to eliminate those issues. seems to be working thus far. also i had installed front and rear break pads on the car as it had none for the trip home from hendo. woohoo. also had to reweld the exhaust as it was broke as hell.. i removed a little bit more of the interior which was useless and reattached some of the loose parts i kept.. painted the taillights all red and installed some rear speakers. cleaned it out a bit yesterday and will be working under the engien bay to try to degrease it this week. as well as install the new mounts and bushings.. if all goes well i should be in piedmont for the event feb 23 if not ill be back at mb for rd 2 of the points series.anyway there u have it what its been through and all that jazz.. here is a few pics of how it looks today in my yard..

Yea i feel ya man. Some people like to talk down on the S Chassis saying its "to easy" of a car to slide , but if your doing it your doing it and as long as the driver is happy and having fun then **** it.

Did it take long to smack up the rear? What exactly was attempted to be spray painted on there?

well ill be honest im the first one to talk down on the s chassis.. ive drifted ae86 for 3 years... ive been in cressidas miatas etc... the s chassis is the easy button no doubt.. but drifting is drifting either way.

the painted area was a skull and crossbones done for the hell of it then a black primer spot to cover the raw metal..

yeah hit a wall at the second event there was an outside clipping point much like irwindale wall.. got a little too close and balls out..oops.. itll buff out right? haha.

Nice video , but i see alot of corrections , swerving and off line mistakes being made. I didnt really see one drift that lasted that long that was clean , just seemed like very sloppy drifting IMO. But , thats just me calling it as i see it.

slappy ive come to notice u bash just about every video ive seen anyone post.. it doesnt make u a likeable person..but ive been around and it doesnt matter either way..

in all fairness however the clips that were used didnt come out that good.. in fact if i had done the video i wouldve left out a lot of that footage used some of the better runs or whatever.. some of the footage he cut down and use a part of actually were good complete runs.. instead they got cut and he tossed in some other footage so it either came out looking like a spin or stop drifting or whatever and worse run footage was cropped in after it.. didnt do much as far as showing driver talent imo.. but whatever.. does show however we do get out to events and drift and run tandem as well in both competition and free runs..

in my defense that was the debut of the paint scheme as well as some changes to the car.. i was fighting grip int he rear way out of alignment in the front and the car was suffering serious powerloss issues i couldnt figure out and still havent all i know is the power is there now so whatever right? lol.. the ae86 had lost its powersteering completely and was ran half the day low on oil..oops...

but no excuse u run what u brung and u do what u do.. that day in fact i only placed 12th on the list and mike in the corolla didnt place higher than 8th himself if i recall so it wasnt a good day of drifting.. anyone will tell u have good days and bad days.. no one consistently runs the same everytime.. its part of progressing as a driver and adjusting to different circumstances every time u go out. what happens happens.. but u cant base a drivers skill on one events performance from what ive seen cause ive seen guys who couldnt link the course half assed one month show up at the next event and take a podium cause they could get the line down and stick to it..

basically if u are trying to say im some internet drift poser come out to an event out here or maybe i can come up your way and try to sway your thinking of me.. if not oh well ill still keep doing what im doing reguardless.. as will u..

anyway back on topic.. acquired a bucket seat for the car and will be running may 3rd in greenville sc my home town for marcos and southeast drifts event here...

maybe i can get some decent footage this time.. ill bring my own camera and have someone film outside the car or something..lol. then again i may have a horrible day and get nothing from it.. eitherway ill post up a video of whatever i can use from it.

Whoa whoa dude , im not call you a poser or anything , jesus christ learn how to take honest criticism. I call things as i see them. I never once said your a poser or a ****ty driver , and i already told you i liked your car , it looks better then mine ever will.

haha nah dude its all good man.. like i said ive been around.. and i also stated as well that those were crap runs.. all i was pointing out was that u are always quick to point out peoples errors man..thats all.. i can take criticism either way.. doesnt matter.. but its that kinda criticism that scares new guys off cause they think they have to be d1 gods or they are gonna get clowned on or made fun of..

ive learned in my time around it that the biggest setback in drifting is people getting over the fear of getting made fun of for trying to learn it.. we all started out doing oblong donuts and over rotating on initiation or understeering around the track.. but when guys get around it and hear people pointing out the bad things in the runs they start to get worried that people will make fun of them cause they know they are gonna screw up the same or even worse.. that will turn alot of people off to it..

id love to see it grow the right way.. not so much people trying to get the damn nopi license or whatever.. just more events for lower rates and more people learning.. i spent a few events this year just riding along giving pointers to people.. in a lot of ways i sometimes enjoy watching people progress more than i like driving myself.. its awesome to be in the car with the guy who u helped link the course for his first time.. we all get the same feeling of accomplishment and pride from that.. but what im getting at is a lot of people dont ever get to that point or that side of drifting cause they are afraid they will get made fun of for making lots of mistakes.

so i usually tend to just say something like nice vid or whatever in most cases rather than point out the bad things in there.. cause there always will be some. not just to be nice to the guy who put the video up but to also kinda show people that there is love for those in the sport who do it reguardless how good we are.

slappy man dont think im trying to start **** with u bro cause u know as well as i do for the most part u and i are the only ones(there are others here too) who post in this forum useful info...lmao. its all good in the hood man aint no hatin on this side.sorry if i came across as pissed or whatever at u man it aint like that at all.

Its cool man , but sometimes that criticism i give can be helpful if people take in in a positive way. Just like you being an instructor inside a car , im on the outside telling people where they need to improve.

Nice list , but get some sway bars and thank me later.

You dont need those WhiteLine adjustables anti sway bars , all you need is some Suspension Technique's. Here is where i got mine.....

EDIT

Holy hell , drift tax sucks!!!! I got mine for $160 years ago , i cant believe they are $300 now!!!!!!!
