LOL sorry driftboy, funny how I thought u wanted an air splitter.

Anyway, 150A for both is perfect for running 1/0 gage wire to your front. You want to rewire the fuel pump eventually man. It can cause a high initial draw from the relocated wire. I believe I had the fuse blow on me once because of this, the pump was priming and i started the car at the same time.So yea, eventually get that fuel pump power wire hardwired to ur battery, I will be doing the same, maybe a writeup shall take place.

lol no worries man. You dont hafta call me driftboy-as a matter of fact no one does because I look back at making that name and its kinda gay lol

Im ordering that splitter now, as for an air splitter or lip at least I really like these chuki lips I saw but I forgot who makes em..they were badass though.

If you do a write up maybe I will try running the pump directly to the battery but only maybe because me+wiring do not mix.

If I use 1 gauge to the splitter then 4gauge will 150A work for both still?

Yeah man it'll be fine. Try not to start your car when the pump is priming until then. I'll have to do the same, walboro requires more amps than the stock pump.

It comes with 2 fuses, one large which goes from 1/0 to the two 4 gage wires and one small 150A fuse, which idk where it goes. Probably between the two 4gage wire blocks but i dont need that.

If you haven't chosen it already, just chose both options at 150A. You can use them both, but I prefer the larger one. You will see.

I am an idiot lol no worries on that, I have to give some credit of idiocracy to my father though as well because he convinced me to it.

shipping to your door is $193, we could go a little cheaper through a freight company, but their price was just to drop the package off at their nearest warehouse location to you, and you'd still be responsible for driving out to get it, not worth it imo.

Picture-less update because Im exhausted

Tried puting the trans in tonight, had 5 guys [4 to pick it up underneath the car which was easier than using a jack] and we couldnt manage...When we tried to get the main shaft in, the bellhousing would hit the firewallWhen we tried to get the top of the bellhousing on the front of the firewall the mainshaft would hit the pressure plate

Needless to say it was a nogo and Im renting the cherry picker again saturday to pull the engine and bolt the trans up all together, which we ended up calling "back up plan A" while workin on it tonight, I know tthere is something we are missing but none of us could figure it out so we are going with back up plan A lol

On the good news side-I got some new treats in today maybe Ill post pics in a bit later if Im feeling frisky

Hookin up the gauges today or tomorrow, I have to order some new parts, as well as an injector or can I just replace that plug somehow? Til next time

Looking good so far dude, kind of weird how those holes won't line up though.

They usually dont line up if you bolt down one side at a time.

Try this, loosen all 4 bolts to the transmission mount. AKA two 14mm (edit, yours don't look stock and may not be 14) and two 12mm. Then back the xmember bolts out half an inch. It should be easy as pie to get the other 2 xmember bolts back in now.

If it is not, your motor is probably sittin crooked or too high on the subframe mounts, aka too high up the slit. This is probably the case because you stated your engine sits too high as is, but that can also be attributed to not bolting the trans xmember in.

Shoulda looked at my build for install pics lol. I only got one nick on the firewall because I used the fender cover to shield the engine and firewall. I also cover the trans in towels/rags to help prevent scraping of the transmission tunnel. I didn't even mention it in the build thread that I dropped it in by myself because nobody was around to halp.

Also I haven't painted the VC yet so i didnt have to worry about scratching the s*** out of it!

It's taken me 1 extra car to learn these tricks of teh trade.

You're moving pretty fast man, I remember the start of your build thread. I actually like the paint on the SR, but I'd rather not do that to mine because I want to media blast it someday instead. I <3 your pullies.
