I started a new post hoping itll show up on the next page, but here is where my 8 hour day began, not including the first 3 hours getting the cherry picker and the extra hour or two playing with it after the Blackhawks won [CHEYAAAH!]
Installing clutch plate I got real good at installing clutch pressure platesI ended up torquing down the clutch bolts to 48 ft/lbs [THIS IS THE WRONG TORQUE] and I broke off a bolt in the flywheel, luckily I was able to run to home depot and get a punch to spin it out. Then after going to Napa, I came back with an extra bolt, well then I did the same thing AGAIN!!! Not thinking it was the torque spec but the wrench. So I had to go BACK to Napa and buy 5 more bolts just in case, at this point I did some research and decided to use thread locker, tighten in a star pattern 1-2 turns on each bolt at a time and when the pressure plate was flush I went ahead and torqued them to 25ft/lbs.
Trans questions..correct setup?^^Should the bearing have a lot of play with the fork?
Some more reading for you guys, sorry lol Well the engine was stuck leaned over and we couldnt fit it thru the door like that so we took the cherry picker apart, brought it in the house and lifted the engine up so we could use new bolts from the stand->engine. Well the clutch was on so it wouldnt fit and then I had to remove the clutch again and hook it up. Then we took the massive cherry pickre apart and put it outside and proceeded tto push the engine outside...blah blah I know-pics.
