Did you use just liquid gasket on the intake manifold, or did you use a new oem metal gasket as well?

If it's just the liquid gasket, take it off and put in a new oem gasket. I wouldn't trust liquid gasket there at all.

Secondly, replace all those hoses under the intake manifold while you've got access to them.

I used both

Im replacing most of the hoses as well, I got some more work done today and started with the valve cover & finished my friends tails.

No pics yet, dell charged me $50 for a DIAGNOSIS not even fixing the problem so we'll see how that goes

Replacing those hoses is a lot easier with the manifold off...

Either way, good progress.

gooood luck. i will own their ENTIRE s13 catalog of suspension parts in a week or so... just awaiting their arrival.

gotta stay a step ahead of the game homie...

but on a positive note, its good to see something being done legit-ly. this community lacks that way too much.

That would be my ex, as I realize I should prolly expect a few comments like this Id appreciate you keeping it to yourself in my build

Her name is Lindsey though LilP.

Thanks WC, not trying to be cheap but Im broke as a joke right now and have to drive to LA in 3 weeks. The seat was like $34 I think, its a passenger seat & the drivers one was kinda gross so I left it.

there better than the se seats, but they still suck. bend the sides in and they hold you a little better. i did that and it actually helped. there's a write-up in the tech section for it. low-buck seat mod or something.

btw, if someone wants to pick em up. my pair of base model seats with no rips are for the taking. i cant stand to look at them anymore. haha

They charged me for a bucket seat, eh no big shake its better than $350 for a passenger that doesnt need it lolf they can deal.

It was just the SOHC seat, not a gem necessarily but it was a big step for me! lol They only had one S13 there this time and they usually have 3-4 so Ill be going back in a week or two to pull some more parts
