Good to hear you still have a Nissan project goin

So the 90* coming out of the bottom of the TB needs to be capped but the other 2 are fine and use the glue on that one
Didderson wrote:
For the turbo cooling line I'm sure you've seen that I ran a hose from the IACV high pressure to the turbo since I cut the bit of pipe off. The other one from the IACV I had to cap off, and the best way I thought was to crimp it and additionally clamp a hose to it, then the other end of the hose was a screw inside of it clamped yet again.
I understand everything you said for the most part except for this part--> One of the turbo coolant lines goes to the back of the motor I know that, and iirc it leads to the coolant lines under the I.M.. There are 2 coolant lines on the IACV that I do not need to run and one on the front that goes...?

I had to read it throuh a good 4x and look at pics but I think I see what you mean other than the turbo coolant partModified by DriftBoy07 at 6:44 PM 3/1/2009

the small hose barbs u see are for the iacv. the one closest to you gets capped off, the one farther away on the high pressure hose, you use that to run to the turbo. Only if you cut your metal hose like me should you do this. If you didn't then just leave the turbo cooling hose hooked up to the stock barb, and cap off the smaller hose barb in the background.

the OEM setup for incoming turbo cooling line.

This is what I did to reroute the heater core line for USDM firewalls. You should be able to see what I'm talking about now. I'm sorry I don't actually have MS paint! WTF? Reformatting's a b****.I can get a pic for you tomorrow of the setup w/ the hoses on because it's sitting nicely in my garage still hehe.

I saw you asked me on my last page of the thread if I'll stick w/ RWD. Hell yeah man! Earliest I could get another shell would be in the summertime, but I would want/need to put a new head gasket on, and Rocker arm stoppers! I wouldn't build another car without coilovers this time either since I sold the suspension it had to WC, so I'd need an extra grand for that too. I have to save my money atm for penn state next year, no more HACC, and I decided to finish my 4 year degree, so I don't see me having extra money anytime soon lol.But the sentra is fun and old school. You should see the square pyramid shift boot, it's 80's hot!I might start a build thread for it, but it'll be weaksauce since I'm keeping it at DD status. My old rims fit it though, so this summer I might cut the springs and put em on lawlll.

when you replaced the hose clamps, did you check or replace the hoses as well? thats pretty important and you should at least inspect them really good.

as for fan controllers i may be able to help you out. i have a fan controller i'm trying to sell. its this exact controller herehttp://store.summitracing.com/...w=skui paid $45 for it at a local speed shop and never used it. i'll sell it for $30 shipped. it has the probe type sensor that is meant to go in the radiator, but the guy i bought it from recommended loosening the coolant hose and sticking the sensor in there for a very clean look. this controller would work fine for running an efan and is a lot cheaper then the other one. let me know

Thanks didderson! I see what your talking about, are there any major advantages of doin what you did over just running the regular setup?

And you should get another 240 for that engine! OR convert your sentra to RWD...now theres a build for ya dude. If you do make a thread for it be sure to link me. I know what ya mean bein tight on $ though, Im fortunate with my couple of jobs and being slightly overpaid

Most of my money this summer is going towards moving out west.

WC Ill let you know prolly sometime this week, I gotta figure out how hard that would be to wire and whether or not I wanna keep pushin it. I did check the majority of hoses all over, and Ill check the others soon-Im replacing some of them too, Ill post pics when I do it

So my turbo lines came with 7 copper washers, I only used 2 on the turbo itself (Oil Feed & Water Feed Lines) so Im stuck with 5 more...where do I use them? I figured 1 for the oil feed on the block but what about the other 4??

Got a ton of work done today, took plenty of pics for a good update too but...My laptop says that my hard disk has failed and needs to be replaced or repaired, and I have no idea what that means so I have to call Dell asap. So pics are on a hold til thats worked out

If anyone can help me with the copper washer situation Id appreciate it though.

Are you using stainless steal turbo line or normal stock buy new lines? If stock but new the washers go on from the block side and from the other side before the bolt head...
