drift truck

has anyone ever try building a drift truck, i'm thinking of taking a 92 nissan pickup and making it into a drift turck, will this work or not. how should the suspention be upgraded? air bags!

been done a million times in japan, might want to look into that.

He's talking using an actual truck, lol, not "trucking" a 240 or something. I would like to see it, there is that guy running a el Camino in Formula D. Anything will "work", its just making it drive well. You definatly need to lower it, but not airbags imo. they would be too soft. I would guess reverse the shakles on the back and lowering spindles in the front for a mild drop. your also going to need stiffer sway bars and adjustable dampining/ coilovers. Your gonna have to find a setp that works for you, because a 92 pickup is definatly not something alot of people modify to go sideways.

lol super lower it with stiff suspension and you're set.

theres a guy here in philly with a sr and a 50 trim in a old nissan pickup

it flies too! Matt from Imp Intelligence raced him after HIN last summer, and the truck kept up once it got goin... just that car is quick... hes even faster now - i think he got a better turbo. He was on a turbonetics top mounted 50trim i think... he had fullrace top moount mani.
