I want people like me just startin to learn to drift and maybe tell me ur feedback about what u did wrong and what u did right. Also where can I find coilovers thats a bang for your buck.
people who have years of experience don't create webpages 'teaching' people how to drift because they know that it can't be done that way....people who do donuts in parking lots often put up pages teaching how to drift to show how knowledgeable they are.
How to drift:1. Break the rear tires loose2. Don't spin out3. Drift4. Avoid hitting something (optional)
...there ya go 4 easy steps to drifting.
to break the rear lose, use any of the techniques noted on the many 'how to drift' pages on the internet, which one doesn't matter....they all seem to have copied their pages from the same person. Easiest way just starting out in a 240 is the clutch kick, though power over works well in the rain. A little feint will also go a long way. When the car starts to spin, let go of the steering wheel (car will correct itself a lot faster than you can) and catch it when needed.
practice on a large expanse of concrete with few things to run into.don't kill anybody and try not to break your car too much (breaking something is a given though...it'll happen eventually)....and don't try any 3rd gear drifts unless you've got an lsd (or a deathwish, balls of iron, intense need to get into an accident, etc).A spare set or two of rims/tires is also useful.
