Take you RWD car to a dirt lot.1- Do doughnuts. Practice doing circles in both ways. Make the circles wider and wider.2- Practice slides. Accelerate to about 15-20 mph, let off the gas, Turn the wheel, pull the hand brake. Practice keeping the car moving in the original direction. By cross Controlling the steering.3- Combine these 2 teqniques. First the braking slide then into the Doughnuts. You will now have a good feel for cross control of the steering on coordination with throttle input.

Note! Make sure your practice area has good run off space!NO cliffs! No Buildings! No major Roads! If it is away for residential arias, so they won't complain about the noise to the cops. If you are in the middle of freaking no ware who cares.

For additional drifting info and videos:http://search.store.yahoo.com/...fting

Start with the Drift Bible.

http://www.drifting.com/

As you will learn there are more advanced ways to drift. (Swedish flick as seen in the WRC and so-on)

But the top 2 will get you into the proper form and save your *** on rain, snow or ice.

Have fun!

If you're using the handbrake technique to lock the rear wheels, don't forget to push the clutch in. Otherwise, you might wonder why you keep stalling your engine.
