Hey all,I'm designing a new suspension setup for my car. No its not a Nissan, gotta get that off my chest first, the 240 is sitting this one out. But as a whole this forum has been more helpful than the rest that I am a member on so If you all will permit I'm gonna post my questions here.

The car is going to be 2900lbs(+- 50lbs) wet with driver, it has a current weight balance of 58% front. 346 all wheel hp. all the parts for the rear wheel conversion have been sourced so don't try to convince me otherwise.

I am trying to improve the weight balance by moving the battery and radiator to the trunk, I'm switching to meth-injection from a big FMIC and removing the front bumper, and replacing the heavy front seats(leaving the back for now.) but this will all happen over the course of the summer, and I'm planning my suspension for what i have now.

My current set up is 800lb Hypercoil springs up front and 400lb rear on Bilstein shocks near stock ride height. my roll resistance is 56/44 and it give me a slightly tail happy corner entry. The rates sound ridiculous i know but its been setup for autox and it handles very very well and i have won numerous local and regional events with this setup and running Hoosier tires.

My thoughts are going to rear wheel drive are going to really affect vehicle dynamics, a lot of the understeer I have been trying to fight will likely fade with no axles running to the front wheels. But I have no real idea whats going to happen or how to set up for a drift suspension. My last suspention setup was alot of trial and error as well as talkin to the pros about what they thought. i would prefer to skip a lot the trial and error part this time.

What are your thoughts and suggestions for setup.

Dude, plz stop beating around the bush and tell us what car you plan to convert to RWD... Talon, maybe?

It's really difficult to give input/advice without sufficient info, but I'd recommend you start reading here:zerothread/11638
