the question is which is a better engine for drifting?the SR20DET or a KA24DE-T (aftermarket turbo of course)i've heard the SR is smoother but a KA turbo is has a more torque-y feel.better to drift SR20DET or KA24DE-T?

Interesting question, I would say it prolly depends upon the driver and their personal preference, and also on their style of drifting.

Its really personal preference and your personal style. Given the choice I would take a SR20, but I'm not much of a KA-T guy.

The KA in my opinion would hard to control with its generally higher boost threshold.

I'd rather take the KA-T b/c of its available power... only drawback is cuz of its iron block... but if you can drive well, shouldn't really matter in the drift. I still drift in my N/A KA, but its still fun
