u got a point, but that thing is not worth that much! why pay so much for something that costs like couple of cents to make. i mean, i can make that in my CNC class for free, there is nothing to it. i would never spend 20 bucks on that. the most i would spend on would be like 5 (shipped).i say just tape it.916drifter wrote:STOP BEING CHEAP AND BUY ONE FROM PHASE2 AGAIN!!! Yeah the only purpose of having the knob on there is so that you can grip the e brake button to pull it out after the spring has been disconected. A glued on quarter, bolt through the tip, whatever will work as well. To get out the spring, simply pull of the ebrake boot, and pull the tabs out on both sides untill they are flush with the handle metal. the spring will fall into the handle. Done.x240xdrifter wrote:my friend used a quarter glued to his e-brake, he took the spring out of it, so it worked, and if he wanted it to stay up, then he just pulled the button up, its weird and I'm trying to do it to mine but I'm stumped on how to do it, but its cheap, costs a quarter haha
how do you get the boot off?naed240sx wrote:
