Anyone on this board from PA or MD going to the Drift Showoff in D.C.? Its Next Saturday, the 24th from 11-6 and tickets are on presale for $17. Its being held at FedEx Field.

It takes the life outta your tires, and there's body flex galore but it's fun now...if only I could get a rwd car and stop using the e-brake LOLOL, I wanna lern how to trail brake....nyone gat's pointers? lol

Most of those show cars were pretty queer. Especially the ones that played some lil john.

I went...it was awesome, me and my buddies have gone out with JR to our local industrial park a few times...he's a nice, down-to earth guy. Doesn't seem like anything goes to his head.

Yeah, I'm going...and with the new car . I'm getting rid of the s14 in favor of an s13 and a crap-load of money to work with because the s14 is bad luck (too many people running into me and what-not.) With any luck I'll be able to compete. And that drift even is on the 16th just to let you guys know. I live in Bel Air, its about a 10 minute drive to Ripkin Stadium where the event is.

whoa, hold up. its in october?? i didnt see any of you guys at the falken meet. Did you enter or what???

I didn't compete in the meet because my car's suspension is screwed because someone backed into my wheel, which caused all kinds of trouble. And I don't know of that s13 that you're talking about...not too many nice s13's around here...most of them are owned by old men who can't drive. But there is a nice white s13 hatch with SR...props to whoever owns that.

anyone heard of the drift event at VMP in Virginia in October? It gonna be 12 hours of drifting in a tire freindly lot. I beleive its either 50 or 75 dollars and u get a free lookout shirt.
