Well I decided to have some fun doing some drifting after watching a movie last night at the theater. The bad thing is we had just had some freezing rain earlier that day so the parking lot was way slick. Here I am thinking "This is perfect, I won't have to worry about burning my tires up and I'll get to do some doing some drifting". Well everything was going well until I tried a "Feint manuever" and I spun out and my rear hit a snowbank and totally screwed my Apex'i N1 exhaust . It was so bent at the resonator that the exhaust hangars were approx. 5 inches away from were they get mounted on the car. On top of that I tied a rope to keep it off the ground to make it home and well the rope didn't hold the whole time so I scraped a nice hole right at the elbow before the muffler. I have no stock exhaust to put on and I was hoping someone on here might see this and point me in the direction of where to find a good cat-back system (or stock) for a small amount of money....Eventually I will upgrade to either a Blitz Nur Spec or a JIC Magic system.....

ouch man, sorry to hear that. I can't name any places save for ebay or a junkyard to find an old stock system, just wanted to offer my condolences for your exhaust :/

I got stuck in the snow on christmas, but it wasn't from drifting. I did slide around plenty though. =)

It's definately fun when your sliding around until you actually hit something...lol. Oh well, the important thing is I learn from my mistake and fix it. I think my friend has an SSAutochrome catback exhaust for my s13 so I'm gonna see if I can get that off of him. I was kinda laughing when I was spinning out until I heard that nasty crunch...At least it was just my exhaust and nothing like axles or similar.

I doubt drifting on ice is a wise idea. Even a feint maneuver needs some initial traction to get it started.

Yeah, tell me about it.....lol. I just was having some fun ya know, It's all good now though. I bought my friends SSAutochrome catback exhaust (full stainless, N1 style) for $300.00, so it all works out for the best..

Sorry about the exhaust my hangers were tore up in my first accident. I bent them back and the exhaust sometimes rubs.

Well I put the SSAutochrome on and I am sad to say I really miss my Apex'i. Believe it or not the resonator on the Apex'i makes a world of difference in sound. The SSA sounds too "ricey" for me and while I don't care what others think so much it bothers me a little. Hey it works though, When I swap my SR in I will definately go with the Apex'i N1 EVO as I have fallen in love with that low end growl it produces. AS for the BRM, I like the way it sounds but I prefer the nice N1 canisters and angled exit. The other reason I went with the SSA was because my friend is letting me make payments on it so I don't have to stretch my budget too much without making sacrifices. All in all it is not a bad exhaust and throttle revs pretty quick.

Are you serious? BTW I never did find your cell phone clip (in case you were wondering). I thought I remembered seeing it in the car, but I geuss I was wrong. I really don't know how much shipping costs will be for it. You plan on fixing it up and using on your 510? If you really want it we could work something out. How is the 510 project coming along? I've been saving for a nice Apex'i turbo kit for the SR and most likely I'll be running it late April or early May (hopefully).
