We have just dropped the motor into the drift factory car. It was a tight fit but we managed to get it in without damaging anything. We are now in the proccess of hooking up everything and we will do a seperate update covering that at a later date. You can find the install here.

Very nice! I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out...

You will really enjoy the Kei Office XT/RB combo... my XT's worked out really well for my RB S13.

Some advice for if you ever have to pull it out or put another one in... next time go up through the bottom... far easier to drop the car on the motor than to slide the motor in through the top.

Nice Mine's valve cover paint job too...

probably a lot easier, but less practical if they are using mounts instead of the crossmember, if youre using the cross member dropin the chassis onto the engine is probably the way to go

I don't really see how it's any different... you take off the radius braces on the car then slide the motor and trans under with the x-member attached (with mounts attached if S13 member or with only x-member if Skyline member), drop the car on the motor/trans then lift them up and bolt them in... I don't see how using either mounting method makes a difference. I've done both mounts and x-member using the same method and they work the same way.
