Ha ha ha... I live pretty close to Drift Factory's shop, so I've been down there a "few" times... unfortunately I've been sworn to secrecy about the DF car... all I can officially say is that it will be SICK.

meh.i have my doubts.so far nobody in the US has made a good car.there is a guy in canada with CANNONBALL who made a bada ss M SPorts s13. that is the ebst so far.Pink GodziRa easily has the best cars.before the end of the year we will have 2 new badass s14's

plenty of people have made good cars on US soil. not as good as an japanesse based company. but people here do what tehy can with what we have. Remember the US is limited to what we can ahve.

Pulled this right off the Drift Factory site:

"(the KeiOffice reps) advised us on where we would have to place gussets and how the cage would have to be welded in order for the suspension that they are going to make..."

I guess that's as much of a confirmation as we can expect for now.

As far as the motor goes, all I can say is I had never heard of such a buildup before. Not in an S13, not in a Nissan, not in ANYTHING.

Hehehe, actually the motor that MasticatingCow is referring to is not going to be in for the initial launch of the car. There is a lot of work that needs to be done as far as milling the block and boring out new oil channels, it's not possible to have the block in by our deadline. However, I assure you that the engine that is going in the car for the launch will be MORE than adequate. As far as suspension, yes, Kei Office is making custom suspension for this car based on the originality of the design for the car, there is not a suspension in the current Kei Office line that will handle the job.

Yeah, I'm going out on a limb and guessing it's a S15. Headlight shape and the hood lines indicate that. And the bars cover up the dash so we can't tell which side the steering wheel is on. About the engine, it's never been done? Some crazy hybrid car? Can't wait to see what time will reveal.
