Drift cage question.....

So basicly Ive been searching around on the net and am unable to find the 2010 cage regulations for Formula D and D1..... namely does the A pillar bars have to go thru the dash??? If anyone has heard any of the new regulations could u b so kind as to point me in the correct direction... thnx alot fellas

i would probably look into a larger sanctioning body for specs, look at NASA and SCCA, any regulations that they have will more than likely be FAR more stringient and in depth than anything you will find for D1 and FD

yea I know sum places say no tandem without a pillar bars thru the dash... others state otherwise....

Yes the cage must go through the dash and reinforced with gussets. It must also be welded in.

thnx i wasnt to sure as to the specs for 2010... yea im welding up my cage in the next few weeks and just wanted to be sure...
