What can you say, a Q45 with a RB26DETT, that needs some help in the body work department.

the window aft of the rear door is uncharacteristic of a maxima, as well as the shape of the strut towers. now that you mention it, doesnt really look like a Q either. maybe some other JDM non-export car.

2 options:

1) RWD conversion2) pressurized KY jelly tank with injectors to spray the rear wheels constantly, along with gratuitous parking brake use.

If you cook into a turn hot enough and let off the gas or hit the brakes, the rear end will come around.

i realize john called it a Q because that is what SCCweb called it in their caption "You might recognize this car as the Q45 sold in our market, but this one has a RB26DETT under the hood." their caption is wrong, WAY wrong. the car actually is an A31 Cefiro, which was never brought to the US and is used frequently as a drift car. A31's came in RWD or AWD(option on turbo engine) with variations of the RB engine (RB20E, RB20DE, RB25DE, and RB20DET), so swapping a RB26 shouldn't be too hard. here's a pic of an A31 in better shape.

Yes, it does look like many cars, here in Alabama, except for one thing, not enough duct tape, and no rebel flags waving in the wind!

Don't see the red GA clay that would be "part" of any 'bama car.

Used to live in LA myself, below Mobile that is.
