so after talking to my friend about the future i now have my dream crushed. I planned out the other day what i wanted to do to my car and came up with all the exact figures. I did this to see if it was worth it and or if it was possible.

Coils 1000Hood 725System 2000+Stillen............Body Kit "unpainted" 896.47BBK 1,139.58Pulley 180 + 37strut bar 219Sway Bar 135

=6332.05 = way to much bc

turbo6k

=

12k+ soooooooooo + 700 for the doors i wanted

i think im just going to get the Stillen fascia and call it a day bc my front bumper needs to be replaced and headlight. BUT i will still do some small mods like painting the inside of my headlights and getting gtr overlays "maybe" on the led tails or i may even sell them if they arent what i expected or wanted.......well see

Dreams are crushed BUT im the type of kid who likes to plan out before he does something stupid since ive already done stupid s*** "strobes + underglow"

Im just gonna take a break from modding my car and just do lil s*** to keep it looking sexy i may still go to shows so dont worry dangeris im not bailing on you lol. But it wont be "show" quality in my eyes just my stupid mods on a basic everyday car that happens to light up pretty at night lol

maybe ill trade in my coupe like i planned when im done with college or not but if i dont i will decide then if i want to go all out or not bc by then ill be making the salery i "hopefully" want and will have the money to do so.

like the other guy said, take your time with it.... for example, i bought my stillen front fascia a full year ago for $600 (shipped) when it was on sale and i cut the bars out of the grill and never painted it and put it on. now a full year later, i'm getting it painted and will have it on thursday. it all takes time. but also, try eliminating some things that are expensive that you could live without.

I am a business kid i need the numbers to add up or it wont work. I guess that will go with the career i will be entering "accounting" lol

Who knows maybe i will land a great job and not have to sell my coupe to get my subie.....ill just take it as it comes BUT i am done with modding big....just lil s*** u know to make it look nice

Yah, turbo, geeze . . . too much for me . . . but the stillen fascia, its a must. then exhaust for sure. but those should be the most expensive i think.

Matt, Fix up the coupe to a "desirable appeal" and sell it locally. Use that to fund your next project...maybe say a 370Z NISMO

Dude modding a car ain't easy or cheap. Or else all of us would have our cars all done up by now. Your young just like me. We are in our early 20's. I have worked my ARSE off to have what I have. I'm latino and in the latin culture we, well most, are taught to work hard to get further in life and to get what they want. While in high school I took some mechanic classes at a local college and got a certificate. I then started working at a Volkswagen dealer as a TECH. I was 16 at the time. After high school 17 at the time I was going to college and working. For my 18th BD I bought an 05 Frontier fully loaded. Leather, Rockford Fosgate Sound system, sunroof and the works. Ran me $28 K and I did it. I'm still going to college studying to become a Doctor. At age 18 I started working for the Electrical UNION and gathered money with 2 partners to start an electrical company. I'm 22 now my truck and car are paid off. Just hang in there dude and like many have said take it one mod at a time. Well sorry to give you my small life story. I just want to let you know that this stuff ain't easy. I hope you understand.

Dont you wish you could get the $$ back you paid to have someone drill holes in your headlights n tails to put in the strobes?? We could have done that together in around an hour and saved you... well... I wont say how much you paid And yes you too can be like Dangeris, when you are making good money and have established your career!
