Hey guys, I just got the stripped parts from my front clip. I have these really clear, JDM headlights for a Zenki S14. Mine are all yellowed, and I am removing them anyhow for paint. Does anyone know what the drawbacks are from using these lights?

I have heard that the beam pattern is different and not suitable for USDM roads...is this true?

Second, they seem to take a different High beam light, any thoughts here?

I searched around, and besides everyone acknowledging that these are plastic..I really cannot find anyone who comments on there actual use...Is anyone running these? How do you like them? What problems did you face?

No one has an opinion or info to share? Funny, considering all the posts about them...

Aren't the JDM ones made out of glass or something?

no, the EDM ones are glass. a friend of mine has the JDM lights on his 14... i dont' think there is any difference, except he can have his high beams on without his low beams. looks awesome.

did you get the purple zenki 14 clip from phase2 by any chance?

hahaha.

well, i won't give all the info, but that clip was soooo clean. then due to someones subpar forklift driving skills, hahaha, that clip had it's almost perfect fender and hood destroyed. (don't worry, it wasn't dropped or anything, there was no way the motor could have gotten even the slightest damage from it). we all had a good laugh.

the beam pattern on the JDM ones IS different than USDM...

that is because they drive on the opposite side of the road and need to illuminate a different side... hence comes in the beam pattern..

you can still put them on your car.. it won't be like "oh my god, look at that" kind of thing

Just put them on and see for yourself. Only takes a few minutes to do anyway ;) Let us know how the beam looks.
