negatory, if your pedal is stilcking down most likley you have some air in the system or a leak, top off and bleed the system

Straight from the FSM...

***********************************************************Monitor fluid level in the reservoir tank to make sure it does not empty.

Do not spill clutch fluid onto painted surfaces. If it spills, wipe up immediately and wash the affected area with water.

NOTE: Do not use a vacuum assist or any other type of power bleeder on this system. Use of a vacuum assist or power bleeder will not purge all the air from the system.

1. Fill the master cylinder reservoir tank with new clutch fluid.2. Connect a transparent vinyl hose to the air bleeder.3. Depress the clutch pedal quickly and fully a few times and hold it.4. With clutch pedal depressed, open air bleeder to release air.5. Close air bleeder.6. Release clutch pedal and wait for 5 seconds.7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 until no bubbles can be observed in the brake fluid.8. Tighten air bleeder to the specified torque. Refer to CL-11***********************************************************

The CL-11 reference has a great diagram. One thing the procedure doesn't mention is to you run the end of the drain hose into a container so you don't end up with brake fluid all over the place.

Download the FSM's here.

if you have air in the hydraulic system, bleeding it will help for a few days max. You have to find the leak. It typically will be wet around it. Follow all the clutch line from the top to the clutch slave cylinder.

Has it done the same thing since or is it operating normally now?

Check the silver-heatshield-wrapped flexible line that comes from the hard line on the front frame rail. If it has a lot of movement in it when you depress and release the pedal, it could be getting time to replace it.
