does anyone know how to drain some transmission fluid from a 1991 nissan maxima gxe, the fluid is like past the full mark and it shifts kinda hard, especially in the cold morning, i just wanna drain a little to get it to the right amount.

I don't have anything to show me the transmission configuration on that year. Only thing I can think of doing would be to get a semi-rigid, small diameter, plastic tubing. Stick it down the dipstick tube, then put your thumb over the top and remove the tube (hopefully with some amount of fluid trapped in the tube).

The drain plug for the trans is really easy to get to. It takes a 1/2 inch square drive (ratchet). It's on the left side of the car, right on the front of the trans housing. It's actually easy to drain a bit of fluid using the drain because the plug stays on the end of your ratchet, so you can just pop it back in when you think you've drained enough. I had to drain a bit myself a while back. I just dropped a drain pan underneath and had a quart measuring cup on hand to make sure I only got rid of exactly the amount I wanted.

EDIT:

Here are a couple of pictures (click for full size)You can see the drain plug on the right side of the pictures. The first turned out kind of crappy, but the second one shows it well.

thanks, i dont know how much i should drain tho, on the dipstick it show that its more than a inch past the full mark, so theres alot more than there should be, but i got a quart of fluid just in case i drain to much. How much do u think i should drain? Does ur dipstick have like the 2 nothces in it for cold & hot, i know cold theres supposed to be less, its like a inch past the cold mark & 1/2 inch past the hot mark.

The fluid capacity is 7 and 7/8 of a quart. Even if you drain all the fluid, though, you won't come up with the full 7 and 7/8. When I drained mine, I drained a quart at a time and re-checked the dipstick each time. If I went over, I just poured a bit back in. Unfortunately you can't make things simple and just drain all the fluid and put 7 and 7/8 quarts back in, since draining the fluid will still leave some oil in the transmission itself.
