I'm just wondering how many people either Drag or Drift with their SR20DET swapped 240's, and what were the results (especially if you drag) I'd just like to know how much HP/Torque your pushing and what sort of cars you've beaten and what their specs where along with your own.

BTW - Does anyone know any good places to find a 240 in FL other then Ebay, Autotrader and Cars.com ??? :helpDo your Drift or Drag with your SR?

I drift when I have spare tires to burn up.I drag race just to see what the car can do.

The real purpose for my car, and what I like doing the most, is open track events. Nothing can beat 120mph through turn 8 at willow springs going into a ridiculous decreasing radius turn 9 :)

First and foremost, I drive my car on a daily basis... 500+ miles a week. I'm building my car to road race with occassionally. I'm looking forward to getting some new shocks, and then getting out onto a road course like Willow. Before that, I will probably hit the drag strip at least once to see what kind of time I can put down.

Lennon...when you coming out to the road course with us crazy locals? I'll be missing the next few due to drifting events :), but we'll be running @ Willow Springs on July 10th/11th.

http://www.speedventures.net is the group I normally run with.

Road racing and possibly a few trips here and there to the strip to see what it can do. However I don't think it'll find it's way to a drift event any time soon.

I'm a drag racer only. My car has done a best of 13.01 @ 105.5 mph. That is on the stock motor and turbo. Car made 244.2 on 1 BAR. Hopefully I will get into the 12s tonight.

You can't road race on bent rims that don't hold air. :moon

Yea I'd like to get my car to a Dyno and Dragstrip to see what it's capable of. Should be putting out some crazy HP now so I'd like to see. I'm also more about road racing. Hopefully make it down to VIR or up to Summit Point this summer.

I'm 100% drag and top speed with my S14. I use my S13 more for the handling aspect. I want the S14 to get into the 11s, the S13 is probably in the 17s. :( My girlfriend drives it. It's funny when we race. ;)

I get around 13.2-13.8 depending on launch and weather. I did consistent 13.2's in 70 or under weather with my stock suspension, open diff, and crap cooper cobra tires on stock 95' SE rims. My 60ft is always around 1.8-2.1s. Now I have all adjustable suspension (every piece) except coilovers. I have agx with prolines instead of coilovers. Everything is adjustable including toe, camber, caster, and bumpsteer. I also now have VLSD with falken azenis sports (awesome street/course tires). Runs are with 12.5-13psi (street I run 10psi unless taunted, will boost 14-16psi)

Mods are seen below in my sig minus the updates which I am too lazy to add to it.

Oh, your wheels and tires shouldn't be too bad if you know how to launch it right. I used to be on open diff with stock coopers (480 tread rating WOW!) on stock S14 SE rims. To stress how crappy these tires were, I've done numerous 20+ second burnouts with them all over the place without any sign of major wear. They suck in the rain and dry, but with the right launch, you can actually not notice unless you smoke them off the line.

I had mad traction issues in second at the local track. I ran better times 13.3's at the track about an hour away that has mad traction even if you are running on dryrot ( I was )
