ok, so I just had my rotors resurfaced.. also got the front brakes done. I probably got about 125 miles on them and they are making a grinding sound, It sounds like when you would have no brake pads.. but not that bad.

Symptoms : when I hold the brakes in to come to a stop and Im just about to come to a full stop I'll hear a slight grinding or dragging almost.. but the brakes are quiet say when I use them at any other time..

case of dragging calipers or possibly something else..

Did you put ceramic pads on or semi-metallic pads on?

That would be the back of your pads.

Basically, the way brakes work is when you apply pressure the pads will move back and fourth, put some anti brake squeek or brake quiet (the gel stuff, not the spray) on the back of the pads where they would slide

Sometimes aftermarket brake pads make noise, try buying some lubricator. The rotor could be warped or the caliper needs to be replaced. I'd lubricate first, then buy the rotor, and if it's not any those replace the caliper.

lubication $2.00new rotor $15.00caliper $40.00+

I ended up replacing my caliper on my car but it was making squeaking while I was driving as well. Hope this helps.
