K, so I searched and found some things, but not enought to conclude.

I just wanted to know what are some things I can do to the SR20DET to run its best at the track.

For example, what should I do with:

-Spark plug gap (currently at 0.031)

-Tire pressure (215/40/17)(currently at 31psi)

-Launching technique (I'm hearing launch between 2G and 3Grpm)

-Someone mentioned to me one time that stereo off and heater on helps in the smallest amount, I find it hard to beleive, but I thought that I would ask anyhow.

Mods that need to be known:

Apexi N13" dpIntakeBlitz Dual SBC boost controllerlightened flywheelBOVAnd good 'ol race fuel.

Thanks guys/gals.

The heater dissipates heat in the coolant, so it wont help to turn it on right before you go dragging. But it will keep the engine cooler overall. However this wouldnt make any noticable differance on a 1/4 mile time. Same with the radio.

Figured that. Thanks.

Otherwise, any other tips? How about the BOV. I have a TurboSmart SS, and can adjust the stiffness of the spring very easily, should I make it tigher for the race?

Just make sure the bov doesn't leak. You can always drop your tire pressure to a minimum or probably 18-20 psi?? It really depends what tires you have too.
