Since my last build was "Doin it Okistyle" because I was living in Okinawa, Japan. I named this one "Doin it Stateside". This is the first time I've lived in the states in a long time.

Anyway, I bought a '95 Zenki back in Feb while I was still living in Oki because I found out I was being moved back to the states. I got back to the states in Aug and started on the car. So it begins....(if this sound funny it's because I took it off of another forum I'm on).

This is what I know it came with:
Hydro E-brake plumbed but not mounted
5 Lug
Stock 16" rims
17" MB Weapons rims
Buddy Club Bucket
Function Form Type 2 coil overs
solid subframe bushings
SPL solid diff bushings
off brand tc rods
peak trans mount

Here are some pics of what I'll be working with

Here is the list of what I will brought back with me

S14 SR20DET
5 Speed mission
R33 GT-R Fuel pump
1.5 way LDS
KTS coilovers
KTS 32mm Sway bar
8 Point cage
Uras Type II body kit
Bride Seat
Custom Shifter
SMIC & FMIC
Full interior(minus the dash)
D Max Crystal Corner light
D Max Crystal Blinker lights
D Max Kouki Fenders
D Max Rear Overfenders
Kouki trunk with Kouki wing
Kouki Tail lights
Kouki Head lights
Full 3" exhaust from the turbo back to an HKS Dragger muffler
R33 GT-R wheels
Z33 Fairlady Z wheels
Z32 Brakes
And some other odds and ends here and there

Here it is in Texas getting cleaned up and getting the lights put in for inspection(which it failed). I also put my Bride in, wheels with good tires and raised it about 3 inches.

Here she is in the garage for the first time in it new home in Idaho.

Image

All alone....

Image

Oh wait there's a friend

Image

So, after having her a few days I had some free time to de-fagaize the car. I removed all the retarded stickers and tint. Also put all the MB's on.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Well I got tired of the the whole push button start S@#$ that the old owner put in to bypass the anti-theft system so I rewired it and cleaned up the relay box and battery.

Image
Image

While I was at the rewire I took out the POS radio that didn't work and fixed the HVAC controls so they weren't falling in the dash anymore.

Image
Image

And since I had the dash torn apart I hid the hydro E-brake for now until I can get the rear brakes fixed to be able to think about using it.

Image
Image

While waiting on my stuff to get here I got bored and lowered the car. I maxed out the front coils and lowered the rear to match. Well the only problem I ran into was I got high centered trying to get out of the driveway. Well here are some pics of it.

Image
Image

I also picked up a few things the other day for the car. I have some wiring issues and I have a seized caliper. So i got some brake parts and a few tune up parts that are well needed. Here are some more pics.

Parts
Image

Lights and washer pump wires

I finally got my stuff in Sept. So, while I was cleaning out the garage to make room for the car and the wife's van I threw some stuff on the car just for s*** and giggles.

Kouki Wing

Image
Image

I test fitted the D-Max rear overs

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

And I can't be without my baby's!! So, I had to put the GT-R's on

Image
Image
Image

Brakes went on

I also rebuilt the rear calipers, replaced the disks and pads while I was at it.

So I spent about 4 hours this evening finishing up the brakes and hit on a few other things.

Put on the KTS coilovers

KTS swaybar

Front and rear strut bars

Oh look at all that space, wander why its there.....
Image

Cage is in, well mostly anyway.

Image
Image

Did a little metal flexing trying to fix the lasts owners awesome fender pulling job.

Image
Image
Image

Here it is with the over fender on.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

The specs are 17x9 +17 with a 225/45 and a 50mm spacer.

Got bored tonight so I put the URAS rear bumper on, but didnt stop there. I also threw on the over fender and side skirt.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Here is how the over sits on the tires right now. I have enough pull on the fender to clear the tire but the over doesnt.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

All I need now is a kouki hood and I can finish the body work.

So, I've had a few issues with the car. One is I did a coolant flush to get it ready for the cold since the car is from Texas and since I did it the car gets way too hot. It doesn't over heat it just get almost there. Two is the battery decided it didn't like being whole so it blew a hole in the bottom of it.

Since I can't drive the car I went to put my LSD in and while doing it one of welded in nuts on the front of the sub frame snapped off so the bolt would just spin. So I pulled out the sawsall and cut the bolt head off and got the diff out. So my plan is to cut a hole in the sub frame weld a new nut in there and then re-weld up the hole but that plan came to a stop when I realize I didn't have any cutoff wheels so that didn't get done today.

Well since I cant drive at all and it might be awhile before I can I stripped the front off(lights, fenders, hood, bumper). Once I was done with the stripping I decided to do some test fitting of some more D-Max stuff.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

The wheels are 17x9 +30 with 225/45's and a 15mm spacer. So there's a little gap. Also there is only one bolt holding the fender on too.

I got the LSD in and rest of the body work done(but still need a hood)

So I havent worked on the car all week till last night. I did get the lights all wired up and got some paint on the car too. I know its not much of an update.

Image
Image
Image

Ok, I like I said here are some pics. This will be the last update for the next few weeks. I was scheduled to have surgery next month but they called me this afternoon and told me they could get me in tomorrow(12 Oct 12) so I said sure. So I'll be laid up for a bit.

Some outside pics
Image
Image
Image

Here is the trunk stripped nothing exciting.

Image

While I was in the trunk I decided to go ahead and fix the "body work" the dumbass that had the car before me did(tape and bondo).

Welded
Image

Bondo
Image

Done(mostly)
Image

Here are some pics of the hydro e-brake
Image
Image
Image
Image

Here is what I'm using as a handle
Image
Image

When I took her for a spin the other day I couldn't get into the driveway with my front bumper on so she was lifted 1/2 an inch and took out a little camber.
Image
Image

Well I hope this will hold y'all over till I can get back to it. This is where I'm at right now. As soon as I am healed up I'll be back at it. Since I sold my engine stand while I was in Japan before I knew I would need it I bought a new and a new welding helmet. Just so you know I have done all this work in the last month on the car. I work fast plus I don't have to wait for parts and money for parts.

Oh s*** whats this? Stripped car? Dust? Could it be........ Why yes it is. I sanded the car down this evening to get it ready for some primer.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

The rest of my stuff to get the rear overs on should be here in a few days. I'm still on doctors restrictions so I cant finish the E-brake right now. I should be able to get back to it soon. Well that's it for now.

Look whats going down tomorrow!!!!!

Image
Image
Image
Image

Sorry for the crappy hazy pics but here you go

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

I think I might wet sand it tomorrow then hit it with another coat of clear.

Here you go! She is "almost" ready for the road.

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

I have the mirror left to paint. The rear overs should be ready to go on next weekend.

Here is Hydro E-Brake V1.0
Image
Image
Image
The drivers view
Image

I need to do some finish grinding and paint it.

Here is where I'm at as of right now. The SR should be going in sometime around the first of the year.

Not much of an update but I put my JDM rear seats in(its getting cold out) and removed quite a bit of airbag s***.

Image
Image
Image

Airbag s*** gone
Image
Image

Well that's about it till next time.....

So, the SR came out of its cocoon the other day.

Image
Image
Image

And on the stand ready to be put back together.

Image
Image
Image

So the reason the engine is going back together is because the wife got mad I spent all that time packing it and t getting it ready to bring back then turn around and sell it. So, its gonna go into the car shortly after I get a few things from a friend in Japan it will go in. I'm "HOPING" to get it in by New Years but we'll see.

Well I got out in the garage tonight and got the valve cover, sump, oil pan and pick up put on. As I was going through my stuff I found out my intake mani and exhaust mani gaskets didn't make it. So I'll have to order those. Well anyway I do have pics.

Image
Image

I went with the polished valve this time because I want to "try" for a clean look.

Well I finally got my intake mani and exhaust mani gaskets in yesterday. So tonight I took a well needed study break and went out to work on the SR. About an hour in to it the wife came out to tell me how late it was.

So this is how far I got tonight

Image
Image
Image

My flywheel and clutch should be here soon.

Well that's were I'm going to leave y'all. As soon as get more done I'll post it up.

I mainly did the sub frame like that to help prevent it from cracking. As far as feel, I haven't really noticed anything yet. Yeah, I'm working on covering up the radio area one day.

Ok got some more wiring done today. I'm almost done with it, I can't wait.

Here is what I did with the fender well. I opted to just keep it out but I raised it up.

Going around the corner(not done)

Drivers side nest cleaned up(grounds are left)

Behind the glove box. All the relays and the fuse panel will be tucked up on the right side above the ECU.

If these pics suck its because I pulled out the Nikon D7000 w/ 35mm to take them and didn't use the point and shoot like usual. So, I'm a little rusty with it.

So, I finally finished the chassis harness. And I am so glad its over. All that I have left is to finish repining the engine harness and rewrap it and its on, put in the FMIC, Fluids, and figure out where the f*** to mount my battery in the trunk.

Anyway pics of the finished bay
