I am looking at purchasing a pair of drag racing wheels and tires for my stock suspension 1995 Nissan 240SX SE (5-lug). I need feedback from the experienced if I will have clearance issues with the following setup.

Planning to get the Summit Racing Fast-Five in 15”x10”, 5”x4.5” bolt circle with a 6.5” backspace. Reason with going with the wider 10” vs the 8” is that the wheel will create a flatter area for the tires when going down the track (stability).

Tires and size options in order of preferance will be (M&H Racemaster/Hoosier QTP/Mickey Thompson ET Drag):
1) 28”x11.5”x15” (My concern is the 28” height and 11.5” diameter rubbing)
2) 28”x10.5”x15” (Height may rub and diameter of tire may fit)
3) 26”x11.5x15” (Height will fit, but not too sure on diameter)
4) 26”x10.5x15” (This will fit from researching other setups.)

If you were running coilovers, I would bet that you would hit the suspension with those wheels, but you mention stock suspension. So as long as your overall diameter is small enough to clear the spring perch, you should be ok, but your best bet is to borrow a similar wheel from a friend and go from there.

I am running a 10" wheel with a 6" backspace and clear coilovers, but there is not much space so my guess is that it will be tight if your tire bulges at all.

dont buy the 10" it wont fit im now stuck with 2 sets of wheels i cant use the 4.5" backspace stuck out to far and the 5.5" wouldnt clear my Z- brakes...i just went through the same thing with the warrior r/t....i ended up going with the 8" and a 275/50 bfg comp ta

i fit 325/50s under the car but they stuck way far out...approx 3"

if u wanna go with that wheel i sugguest that you go away from the summit brand since they only offer certain offsets the name brand offers more offsets that may work better...\

edit: all this fits on my 95 with fortune auto coilovers

Anyone? :) Would 26x10" slicks fit, probably on 15x10" wheels? :)

Regarding rims, what's the biggest backspace that would fit S13? Is 6.5" OK? Will there be any clearance between strut and rim/tire?
