I have a 92 burgundy coupe... looks stock except for the blingercooler... lol Well, I am very satisfied with tonight. On 7 psi I ran a 14.3 at 101.99 mph. Then turned the boost controller on and to high hehe... and ran a 13.4 at 106.95. Those were the two best runs. I would have been faster if it wasnt for darn wheel hop. The next two runs were bad but i still managed somehow to rape a ford lightning! The track was starting to get damp causing me to not hook up for anything. Maybe better track conditions will yield better results next time! Overall I am very happy with my first runs at the strip.

Im still not sure but I think its an s14 T28. I have a nismo fpr set a little high to help the injectors out... but im running ~14 lbs on it. No problems with it. If it wasnt for wheel hop I would have been in the twelves. The track was just cold and tires not soft enough.

Man, slap a carbon clutch on your car and I guarantee you will be in the 12's easy. Trust me on that one. All you need even is a single plate and you'll be fine. Its a great investment.

Ive got a exedy stage 2 3 puck. I need motor mounts badly and a new clutch slave cylinder. I would love to have single plate though.

A clutch isnt gonna help unless his current one is slipping. He needs drag radials for a better launch. His 105mph trap is good for a high 12 but its no easy task to get. Need a 1.6 60ft to break into 12's. Definitly seems like hes running a T28. Stock 7psi running 101mph. T25 would have been around 10psi to do the same. There some decent times though.

Sand bags in the trunk will help with the launch as well.

Trust me, I had a twin plate metal clutch on my car with advan ad06 S-tires on and I had alright take offs. Then I bought a twin plate carbon clutch and I started snapping main shafts in my trannys right off the line. I went through 4 trannys in 2 weeks. I had way too much traction and my transmission was the weak link in the drivetrain. Not to mention I was pushing close to 420ps and the stock transmission from an SR can handle only 400ps when drag racing. From what ive experienced, that carbon clutch mad a whole lot of difference in launch and traction and seemed to make up the lost horses I was throwing away before with the metal clutch. If anyone out there has used a carbon clutch you would know, they aint no joke.

Your right too, radials will help out. But the clutch with the radials would help out alot too.

a stock t25 at 7psi can trap 100-101. my friend ran his stock SR swap (stock sidemount IC) with manifold, extension, and turbo back exhaust and ran a 14.1 @ 100. its all about the driver. at 10psi on a t25 he trapped 103 mph

Mine was stock everything except 80mm downpipe, catback and MBC set to 10psi. Theres the difference.

Hes still close to stock power levels. No need for a twin plate clutch yet. I dont think it would benefit him untill hes around 400whp.
