Not too good of a night. This was my first time trying to really launch the car on these slicks and I fought w/ them all night. Also, I kept having issues with the car cutting completely out between gears and falling on its face.My best time:

60 ft- 1.803330ft- 5.3111/8et- 8.03MPH- 90.27

Really disappointed not to see a 7 sec pass, but dammit I was close. If the car hadnt fell on it's face and if I could pull a 1.7 or 1.6 60ft I think the car will run 7.8 or better at 91-93 hopefully. This was done at 17 psi

With the slicks, What were you having the most problems with? Ive always heard that with slicks you gotta rev high and ride the clutch out for a smooth fast launch.

1/8 mile strips suck... Even if it wasn't what you wanted to see, those are good times.

Keep in mind these are not true drag racing slicks. They are autocross regular radial construction tires. I was running around 20 psi in them. I was launching from 5500-6000. Most of it was my fault, just not being able to figure out exactly how to get it right. My next time out I should have some better luck. My buddy (garagelu) showed my a** up tho. He was able to pull a 1.7 60 ft. on his Bridgestone RE01-R's.

I really wanna get it to a 1/4 track though. I plan on upping the boost to around 20-22 psi w/ race gas.

damn id be happy to hit a 1.8 60ft. The lowest I could get with street tires was a 2.0 60ft with a 13.4 1/4 103.5 trap, stock sr with BPU at 13psi t25 with an open dif *rolleyes*

theres some s13 srs with BPU hitting high 12's with some lcd's and drag radials

Im hope to be in bottom 12's high 11's with my set up

1/4 is where its at
