Well first time since I rebuilt the bottom end (STOCK) and ran my new set-up. I have 235/60/15 BFG Drag Radials and learning all the new stuff while trying to learn them was hard. Best backed up runs were 12.7 @ 110 with 2.095 60'. I got a 1.91 60' but the clutch slipped in 2nd and 3rd so I bounced off rev limit, had to let off, then mash the throttle again both times, but ended up with 12.9 @ 108, the run easily could have been my 12.5-12.6. I only got 5 runs in and they were separated by an hour and a half wait, so I couldn't get consistent results with the radials, I will get better though, didn't help that it went from a nice 62 degrees to a nasty 75ish within 2 hours.

This was at only 13.4 pounds of boost thanks to a crappy intercooler that can't flow a full bar.

The car has a LOT more in it and the 60's can EASILY improve with practice. BTW: This was full interior, pump gas.

Thanks guys, I will get better. It's all about learning, regardless of the times I proposed to my girl that day too so I win regardless.

Stay in the 12's, its more fun. Once you bust into the 11's or get a trap speed fast enough....you'll get booted from the track till you get a cage and various other safety measures installed.

Try to hammer out a 12.1.

Heh... I still have lame open diff...

And I think my Ignition Coil is going out...

So my MSD 6AL and Coil 2 should be here soon...

I got my new plug wires today... (old ones have a gash... :P)

And I think my crank sensor went bad... HAH. Always something! But one day I WILL hit the track.

BTW what track you hit? (I bet I will suck... I always go easy on the start so I dont roast my 1 wheel for 3 gears)

I'm looking at joining a club that hits PIR all the time... I would hit a track every weekend if I could find one that would let me.

Ugh PIR SUCKS compared to Woodburn for traction. Times are also off, this isn't heresay this is simple fact. I won't race on a track for times unless it's Woodburn.

Are you talking about the track? or the dragstrip?

I'm not much for the 1/4 mile thing... I like grip driving a lot more... I'm not into drifting. I do however respect the skill involved in it.

drags is what I referring to, but I'm into doing track days, etc when I'm done too. Woodburn would be fine with me as well. It's not all that far.

PIR is really against any imports the last couple years. Seems like they got rid of a lot of the test and tunes. The announcer they had with the giant mullet knew all the chevy/ford guys by name, but couldn't tell my car was a nissan. lol
