... Oh, sorry ... too much time staring at your avatar. Thanks. I'll look into them, but the damn car is already having hard enough time keeping grip to the strip, so I'm thinking to keep drag radials.eidk wrote:Well, i cannot say i have used these tires personally but I've read many reviews and had friends try and love both of these tires.
They are not drag radials but they are extremely grippy
Toyo Proxes R888Nitto NT05
You can get an NT-05 drag radial, but I've never heard of an R888 drag radial. If these tires are for the strip only, don't get R888's.eidk wrote:Toyo Proxes R888Nitto NT05
Definitely street/strip use.car nut wrote:

I'm just concerned more about the 'seperation' I'm seeing. It worries me to think it could happen again (granted, I don't know when it started occuring because they are used).car nut wrote:Mickey Thompson ET streets are nice from what I've heard. Same with the NT05, their summer tire is sticky as f*** so I'd guess their drag radial is pretty good too. I'd just get a new set of your BF Goodrich tires though, they always perform well at Hot Rods fastest street car shootout.
No I don't know how old they are, nor how they were used/abused. That's really why I'm asking, to see if anyone else had similar issues either with these or another brand.car nut wrote:You know how old they are? I haven't heard of any reliability issues with those tires.
