Anybody have any experience with BFG comp T/A's, M/T ET Streets or Nitto 555R's? I want to be able to hook nice with a soft compound, but the car is going to be driven everyday until I can fix the transmission in the Exploder. I just want to know how long estimated they'll last on the street. I know soft compound and tread life don't go hand in hand but any guestimated milages? I hears about 2k for the soft M/T Streets, 5k for the BFG's and 15 if I go with the 555R's. Any other suggestions would be nice Thanks fellas.-Alex

i have the bfg's as my track tires and nitto's as my street tires. the nitto's have about 3k on them so far and are doing great. they hold power very well also. from a roll they are hold 350rwhp no problem. launching isnt too bad either.

the bfg's i only drive to the track and back. they do wear much faster being so much softer. they will have gravel inbedded in the tread. i say maybe 3k you could get out of the bfg's.

the nitto's would prolly do great for you, they work well in the rain also, which i doubt i could say for the bfg's

Yeah I'm going with 275s in the rear and I'm definately not going with M/T's because they just wear wayyy to fast. Looks like Nittos for me, but were you talking about the 555 or the 555R drag radials? And you can us em in the rain?! I gotta check on that.... Thanks bro-Alex

the 555r. if you have 17x9's get the 555r type II with stiffer sidewalls..

and yes they do well in the rain. cant hit full boost without spinning but they drive well in the rain
