DA when I left home was 3900 feet so I would have been happy with anything faster then a 14.5.

I beat a 2001 Honda S2000S2000 G35.552 .125 RT2.285 2.102 60'14.606 14.263 1/4 mile ET95.076 97.342 1/4 mile MPH

I beat a 80's Mustang GT 14.520 at 96.940 vs 15.553 at 88.776 mph

I lost to a 2008 Mustang GT 5 spd, 14.481 at 96.217 mph vs 13.639 at 103.732 MPH.

The Mustang had a 8.875 1/8th at 81.250 MPH. I looked under the hood of the mustang for nitrous line but couldn't find any??? It had a injen intake kit and was claimed to be otherwise stock? I have been beating up on the current bodied GT's for a while now I don't buy "stock" when it is almost 1 second faster then the last GT I raced!

The saddest race of the night was a Honda Civic hatch vs a Z06 Corvette. the vette ran a low 12 the Civic ran a high 11.

The coolest car was a1968 cherry red camaro that was running hihg 8's with a supercharger!

This guy had a very nice 90's Stang with a small nitrous kit. It ran 10's on the bottle and was street legal!

It was pulling the front tires slightly off the ground at lauch I got a shot of that but you will probably have to view large size to see it

97 degrees, 20% humidity, 41 degree dew point, 29.84 inches bp and 1200 feet above sea level.

high 13's are normal for 07+ g35 sedans at sea level in reasonable weather

Nice thread man. Probably the most interesting I've seen so far. I don't know about them girls "trying" to dance. lol But nice cars, nice races, and that honda beating a vette is ridiculous, any idea what he had under the hood?

judging by the huge intercooler and detonation during its burnout... huge turbo and a bullet proof vtec.

There was another Honda there that had basically the same set up BUT everytime he would finish his burnout the overflow tank for the radiator would overflow all over the track.

This charger was pretty cool

This car ran 9.8's at 136 mph all night long! A white Supra with 32psi of boost raced it and the Charger ran a 9.78 to the Supra's 9.75 but the Charger had a better RT and crossed the line 1st. About 15 min later the Supra rolls back from the pits asking for a rematch. The Supra ran a 8.6 at 166 mph on the next race the Charger ran a 9.75 again. The rumor in the staging lanes was the Supra closed its BOV and ran 50 psi boost for that trip down the track I didn't get any vid of the supra but I'm hoping after9events.com posts some pic and vid soon
