i was watching Drag Race High on Speed channel and El Camino High School has a red Kouki s14 w/ a KA-t running dat beast... i think it got a 9.30 on the 1/8 or something like that...

Wats funny is that they complain that their school is like inferior to the rival school (Ramona High School- White school) and their the ones with a sick lookin Kouki s14...

My school has and never will have a project car especially a Kouki!!!

Just thought it was cool to see a s14 kouki on TV

I was thinking the same thing about a 9 second 1/8th mile, thats damn slow. That is about a 14.50 in the 1/4 mile, geesh.

i was like wtf then i saw he did say 1/8 and that is slow. a ka-t should be able to get high 12s with like a t28 no prob.

i saw the episode when i did 9 in the 1/8th. there was a short clip that let you see the motor, it appeared to be top mount t3 and it had a strpped interior

I know this is a year old thread, but I graduated from El Camino High in 2004, my last year there we got a new autoshop teacher who brought that S14 kouki with him. I used to take that thing out for joy rides in the morning when we'd have to move all the cars out lol. It was N/A back then, but still fun as hell. I remember the S14 trans had no reverse, and we had an full S13 KA24E swap on a stand so we swapped it out for the S13 trans.

The story goes that the car was being used at Nissan R&D to develop a KA-T setup that would make it into production. I guess they scrapped the project and the car was going to be crushed, but through my teacher knowing some people at Nissan R&D it made into his hands somehow. It then became an Auto X/Drag car for Madison High, then came up to my school in 2003. It's good to see they did something with it.

i think i saw an episode and they were doing donuts behind the school in that car ha im not sure it was a long time ago.
