downpipe question

Sorry if this has been covered. But can I use an SR20 downpipe with my RB20 outlet in my s13? If the outlet is differnt can I use a SR20 outlet + SR20 downpipe?

if you already have a SR downpipe then just cut the flange off and reposition it. its what im doing since i went from a SR to RB. im cutting my blitz downpipe and cocking the flange

I did the same, bought a nice SR down pipe and cut and rotated the top where it bolts to the turbo, I also took a little bit out of it so it wouldn't hang low under my frame.

thanks for the info guys. off topic sorta... anyone no where to get a dump pipe spacer so it doesnt rub the steering shaft?

I wish I had that much clearence with my tophat mounts. I might need to retorque them.

i'm working on developing an o2 turbo-back section that will uses any sr20det downpipe. this will help you guys that have trouble getting a downpipe and also help with clearing the steering shaft. stay tune.

Sorry to necro post but I felt this thread could help answer my question as well.

Basically I have a SR set up but with an RB downpipe. Is it possible to rig the RB downpipe with the SR? If so what needs to be done?

will an aftermarket rb downpipe from like the crap kind off ebay work and fix the clearance issues?

I used one. I had to cut the pipes at the flange at an angle so it pointed more towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Then had it tig'd back together. Then i put a downpipe together myself. I'm getting better at mig welding. Get the one from ssautocrap. It's a decent piece and it's cheaper than they go for on ebay too. I'll try to get some pics.

ok but I want something to buy where I don't have to do any of that extra work.. I want something that will bolt right on and clear. lol

I did a lot of searching and couldn't find anything. AM performance made one but i couldn't find one anywhere. Elbow was only $50 and $45 to get it tig'd back together. It wasn't much work and probably cheaper than anything else you will find. Good luck though.
