phase2motortrend has a Circuit Sports downpipe for sale. is this down pipe worth the extra cash. my max rwhp will be 290. will this down pipe make a difference compare to a greddy down pipe and stock O2 extension(from turbo to downpipe)?

That's a nifty peice of engineering. What downpipe are you running currently? If you already have a Greddy, I wouldn't bother wasting the money on it as all you'll see is a smoother spool up since the exhaust gasses will have a better reintegration off the wastegate. Your money could be better spent on other mods that will give you more significant horsepower gains.

Now, if you're running a stocker downpipe, or a custom made pipe less than 3inches and you're looking for a small upgrade, that could be a good pipe to go for over the defacto Greddy downpipe.

My only concern is if the wastegate runner will have clearance issues. I've seen some turbo elbows that have issues, but this looks to be engineered well enough that they probably took a US S chassis into consideration (most of the elbows I see are for RHD cars, so they don't account for a steering shaft in the way)

if i was in your shoes, i would get if i thought my car was where i wanted it for the time being and i had some extra cash to toss around. but that's just my opinion. i think it's a great item, and worth the money spent, but it wouldn't be much of an upgrade over your current setup. more of a cleaning up piece.
