ok i have searched and searched and found nothing.this is on my red top sr20det.my old setup was stock manifold, stock turbo, greddy elbow, and 5zigen downpipe, which goes to my testpipe.now my problem is when i put on my gt2871r with my megan manifold, the elbow would not mount to the downpipe, no matter how hard i pulled, twisted, nothing was working.so i took my downpipe completly off and mounted it up that way, the rubber holding the transmission brace is almost ripped completly off,in turn the exhaust smashs into my rear bumper, i dont wanna melt my bumper.and i go to order a megan downpipe with the flex joint, and it says 3in, while the greddy elbow is 70mm, 2.75 in,will that still bolt to my elbow or do i need to get a new elbow?also do you guys think the flex pipe will stop my tip from hitting my bumper?any help greatly appreciated! thanks!

Hey I a having a similar problem I just removed my exhaust and found other issues. the main problem you are going to have with the threes inche to 2.75 inch is the turbalence and resistance that will build up at the junstion cause and increase in back pressure. the flex joint will work I would suggest getting a new elbo to match you system it is best to try and stay uniform in your exhaust size. if the size have to change it is best to go from small to large let me know what you do and how it works.

My exhaust flanges are bent on my elbo and down pipe I hit a man hole cover it was a bad day nothing lines up underneath now

I had to adjust everything to make the exhaust not hit anything.HangersAxle back to mufflerAxle back pipe to test pipetest pipedown pipeturbo elbowturbo to manifoldmanifold to headWhat a PITA!The main part that messed up how everything lined up was the turbo elbow how it was bolted to the turbine housing.
